Week Five: Hero and Detail Shot

Image
Hero and Detail Shots Hero Shot Detail Shot The above Hero shot shows the main facade of the building, and highlights the many exterior forms which accentuate the comforting atmosphere. The perspective shot draws large attention to the use of curves which aim to evoke similarities to the relaxed posture of chairs and the softness of blankets. Along with these curves, the pastel colour scheme inspired by BernabeiFreeman's works add to the cosiness. The Detail shot also highlights the recurring curved features but focuses on the interior space. The notion of curves is continued in the ceiling of the top floor where it maintains a smooth and flowing aesthetic. Another significant aspect shown is the transparency of the room, allowing the entrance of natural light into the workplace, and thus further connecting the brand's work with nature.

Sections The following sections are the concepts which were considered during brainstorming. Figure 1: AutoFabrica stairs embedded into the slopes Figure 2: AutoFabrica stairs with hanging steps from ceiling; this design was chosen for the model Figure 3: BernabeiFreeman stairs with slope behind Figure 4: BernabeiFreeman stairs with slope connected to wall; this design was chosen for the model 3D Model AutoFabrica Figure 5: View from basement floor The AutoFabrica stair design consists of pointed steps suspended from the ceiling using metal wires. The design choice of using sharp edges is to reinforce the sleek and Cyberpunk style of the basement. Additionally, the set of stairs create an illusion of movement and depth when viewed from the angle of descent, which reflects the progressive nature of AutoFabrica's work.
